JF Umpleby Plant Hire is a family-run company hiring plant across Leeds and Yorkshire — operated or self-drive.
Directors Jon Umpleby and Frank Umpleby run the business. The focus is straightforward: reliable, well-maintained kit, and turning up when we say we will.
Contractors, QSs, site managers and groundworkers use us for mini excavators, 13t and 21t excavators, dumpers, D6 and D8 dozers and forestry plant. Homeowners and self-builders hire the same fleet — usually operated, so the machine arrives with someone who can run it.
If a machine is booked, we’ll tell you. If we can get it to site for your dates, we’ll confirm the price and the delivery. No fluff — just plant that starts and operators who know the job.
