Operated hire
Machine plus a qualified operator
Operated plant hire means we send the excavator, dumper or dozer with a CPCS/NPORS-qualified operator. You get the kit and someone who can run it.
What’s included
- The machine, serviced and ready for site.
- A CPCS or NPORS-qualified operator.
- Delivery to site and collection when you off-hire.
- Typical hire by the day or week.
What you provide
- Safe access onto site and a firm, level place to unload.
- A named site contact and a briefing / induction as required.
- Welfare and parking for the operator as you’d provide for any other tradesperson on site.
- Fuel for the working day unless we’ve agreed otherwise — ask when you book.
Operator hours
A typical operated day is an 8-hour shift on site. Longer days, nights or weekend working can often be arranged — tell us when you enquire so we can price operator time properly. Travel to site is allowed for in the hire; very early starts or long-distance sites may affect the rate.
If you’ve already got a ticketed operator and just need the machine, see self-drive hire.
